You Shall Finish Well, You Shall Finish Strong Part II

Indeed, the LORD’s hand is not too short to save, and His ear is not too deaf to hear.
But your iniquities have built barriers between you and your God, and your sins have made Him hide His face from you so that He does not listen.
God is Holy, and our sins always become a barrier between Him and us.
And that is always when the enemy seems to get an advantage over us.

Isaiah 59:1-2 HCSB

So how are we going to end well, and strong?
When naturally we are susceptible to sin, and the Word of God cannot be broken?

Romans 7:24-25 AMP
Wretched and miserable man that I am! Who will [rescue me and] set me free from this body of death [this corrupt, mortal existence]?
Thanks be to God [for my deliverance] through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind serve the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh [my human nature, my worldliness, my sinful capacity—I serve] the law of sin.

Hallelujah!! To God be the glory for always making a way of escape for us.
Because of Jesus Christ who died, and was buried, and who rose again on the third day, now seated at the right hand side of God the Father, there is hope for you and I.
All we need to do is to run to Jesus, the one who is mighty to save, the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle.

To finish well and strong, we will have live by the word of God.
Psalm 119:9 AMP
How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to Your precepts].

Engaging in prayer and fasting is also necessary for us to finish well, and finish strong.
Luke 18:1 AMP
Now Jesus was telling the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart,

Matthew 17:21 AMP
But this kind of demon does not go out except by prayer and fasting.

There are times that it becomes also necessary to seek help and godly counsel from those more experienced than us, and also ask for the intercession of friends and family.
Confessions and restitution must also be made where and when necessary.

James 5:14-16
Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the elders (spiritual leaders) of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;
and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Humility must be a lifestyle for anyone who wants to succeed ( Philippians 2:3 AMP), and having a mentor in life is very crucial ( Hebrews 10:25 AMP).

Building your trust through the word of God will also help your hope not to fail, this is very important because it builds your Faith! (Hebrews 11:1)

The Holy Spirit is our helper, and without Him we can do nothing at all. (John 14:26)
We have to learn to have a relationship with Him, and also learn to surrender everything to Him.

Jesus Christ ask us not to fear, because He has overcome the world,
(John 16:33), And because He overcame, we shall also overcome.
So be glad, because you shall finish well, and you shall finish strong.
